Our standard service covers all your immediate needs to have fresh and clean environment – this usually includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, workstation cleaning, emptying bins, toilet sanitising and kitchen cleaning. We also focus on key customer areas such as Receptions and Meeting Rooms. We agree a daily/ weekly service with you to ensure the office areas are maintained to a high standard for your staff to function.
Regular deep cleans can be a core part of our service – especially where hygiene is of utmost importance or an extra service. Hathaway’s can perform chemical and steam cleaning for those areas that require special attention – ensuring your facilities are kept to the best standard possible. We offer one complimentary Blitz clean for our customers each year. In addition we recommend another that may also include window and carpet cleaning – all in a package managed by us for you.
We can also meet one off requests for carpet, window and specialist cleans as required.
We will competitively source and provide office and bathroom consumables on a regular basis to take the hassle away from your team too.
We can provide flowers for receptions and meeting rooms.
Hathaways Way contains our tried and trusted approach to cleaning commercial premises. Starting with your needs and our specification – that establishes the foundations for the service we provide. Each customer site has a Hathaway Manual that outlines duties, procedures, training, standards, protocols, feedback reviews and contacts – this is reviewed and if necessary updated quarterly with you.
We have written procedures for all our processes and systems including our cleaning process, health and safety, security, equipment, cleaning materials, customer communication, employment and training.
You want reassurance that good standards are maintained. We monitor quality regularly based upon our procedures – that you can review on site and adhoc visits by Carole our MD. We also ask our clients to review team performance quality quarterly and this is linked to our employee incentive scheme.
Our recruitment process includes initial telephone interviews, client site visits, cleaning knowledge assessments, references and security checks (if required). We also have a good deal of TUPE experience and can transfer teams for you. All new employees go through a Hathaways Way Induction process and quarterly training updates. We also support those who want to gain cleaning qualifications.
We take care of our people and we are proud of our team of diligent, courteous, hard working and resourceful cleaners. Over the years we have built up a dedicated team of employees with whom we are in close contact. Some work on clients and teams and others stay available to cover for holidays and absence. We take care of our people with good training and the right tools to do quality job. We deliberately pay the living not minimum wage and provide holiday pay – this means we have low staff turnover – this is good for us and good for you.
We have recently introduced an employee incentive scheme linked to our customer quarterly reviews to acknowledge great work and resourcefulness by our team members.
Like Disney – safety is our no1 objective and we apply our health and safety procedures rigorously. Risk and COSHH assessments are put in place and staff are trained to ensure compliance with the latest legislation. All our cleaning products are accompanied by the relevant COSHH documentation.
All our employees sign confidentiality agreements and are trained on potential security issues. We have clearly defined security processes with regard to key holders and alarm systems for our teams who work onsite out of hours. If required CRB or additional client security checks can be undertaken.
We encourage employee awareness and practical implementation of good environmental policies as we clean. This covers recycling, the use of aerosols, choices for environmentally friendly products and the use of mops/ cloths that can be washed to reuse them. As part of our initial discussions with our customers we seek to include their preferences with regard to their own policies.
